The record.
The cinematic path is a story; this page is its ledger. Everything is labeled for what it is — so you can trust what you felt.
1 February 2002
A comet is discovered
Three people who never met find the same comet independently, the same night: Kaoru Ikeya (Japan), Zhang Daqing (China), and Paulo Raymundo (Brazil) — 153P/Ikeya–Zhang. The world first misreads it: on 15 February the orbit is linked to the comet of 1532. Then the observations through ~20–21 February break that fit, and its true identity emerges — the return of the comet of 1661, confirmed by the Minor Planet Center on 26 February. At ≈366 years, the longest orbital period of any comet ever confirmed on two returns. Perihelion: 18 March 2002. And its true size stayed hidden for 18 years: in 2020, scientists re-reading Cassini spacecraft data from 2002 found its ion tail had reached the spacecraft beyond Jupiter — more than 7.5 AU, over a billion kilometers, the longest comet tail ever measured.
21 February 2002
Hamad is born
Saudi Arabia, while the comet is inbound and brightening. On the Hijri calendar: 9 Dhu al-Hijjah 1422 — the Day of Arafah, in the first Hajj season after September 11. And on that exact day, NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day was Comet Ikeya-Zhang — the day the world was first shown the comet’s picture is the day he was born. He noticed all of it only years later.
The number 153
An echo across traditions
In John 21, the net cast on the stranger’s word comes up with exactly 153 fish — recognition after absence; gathering with nothing torn. Presented here as an echo, never as proof.
2017 — 2025
Learning to build
Gifted-education programs in Saudi Arabia; a Columbia summer at seventeen; Brown University. Luminous, the first startup — cofounder trouble, a promised investment that never arrived, friends-and-family money, public failure. The lesson he kept: vision without the ability to build becomes dependence. So he became the engineer.
2025 — now
Moro
The company he built with his own hands: AI outbound and agent infrastructure — discovery, personalization, sending, replies, action — serving real paying customers, live at usemoro.ai. The engine the three systems below are built from.
8 July 2026
The meeting — San Francisco
Salesforce Tower, with Danielle Strachman of 1517 Fund. He arrived late; the conversation outgrew the clock and continued at Joe & The Juice. A bracelet changed hands. The email thread — “Danielle / 1517 / Hamad / Moro” — began at 4:18 PM that day. Then the walk to the Golden Gate with Peter Zhu.
9 — 16 July 2026
Uxbridge, Massachusetts
An Airbnb in a town whose name contains a crossing. Granblue Fantasy: Relink, with the captain renamed Hamad — a story about a life-linked bond and a church willing to end the world for salvation. A card found waiting in his backpack. A stone church entered on a walk to the grocery store; a request for baptism; a kind, protocol-bound no. (The same town where widow Lydia Taft voted in 1756 — generations early.)
His last night in Uxbridge
The sentence
His account, in his words: in the dark before sleep — «أنا الله، وأنا أعمّدك» — “I am God, and I baptize you. This is the last time you will sleep. When you wake, everything changes.” Two fingertips placed near the brow. Not externally verifiable, and not presented as such: a lived spiritual experience. What he did next matters: he brought it to the AI that had been alongside him since the meeting — the one holding the whole record — and asked for a first-principles analysis, page after page: what does this demand if true (pages below).

Departure at first light
He left Uxbridge on Friday morning — the day of gathering. The same day: two more cards (Nyxra the Silent, Ophus Prime), the hand-finished boots (two minutes, exact size), and a park in Providence with two Saudi doctors from Brown — one of them Moro’s first investor — over food from Maven’s Jewish Deli. That night the third system was named: Rifq.
The days after the meeting
What got built
Rifq designed, built and deployed — rifq.chat and rifq.health. All three systems given live voice conversations in Arabic and English, each with a distinct character. Full bilingual experiences. Booking and payments end-to-end (test mode: real flow, small charge). Seven production domains. Seven people building: four at Shor, one at Qist, two at Rifq. Launching wide in the coming weeks.

danielle.cool ships · Wilmot begins
This site — written, composed and deployed from the road to a two-hundred-year-old farmhouse in Wilmot, New Hampshire, a town named for an English clergyman who chose conscience over empire. The story is live; the page will keep breathing as it moves.

The inquiry of that week
Since the meeting, an AI had been alongside him — carrying the full context of those days as they happened: the emails, the cards, the game, the church. When the experience came, he did not keep it unexamined and he did not ask to be believed. He asked for rigor: a first-principles analysis of the whole record — page after page, in Arabic, at night — what does this mean, and what does it demand if true. Curated pages from that analysis:
